Song Choices for A2?!

Orla, Sharmin and myself are very keen to produce a music video of a song from the hardcore or perhaps pop-punk scene, and so up until last week we looked at bands such as;

• The Story So Far
• Title Fight
• Expire
• Neck Deep
• Gnarwolves

as possible artist choices - we decided to look at these bands as they are a select few of our personal favourite bands and so would enjoy creating a music video for their songs.

We also did not need to worry that each of these bands had male vocalists as my brother is in a band and he agreed to take part, and so we were not restricted to finding a song with a female vocalist.

However after some thought, it is possible that using a song from a well known band may not be the best option as if fans were to see our video they are more likely to point out the negative aspects and compare our video to the original, which is something that I would like to avoid if possible, as well as this there is the issue that our song choice needed to be copyright free - and so in order to avoid these complications we decided that rather than using my brother's band (Building the Songbird) to play the roles of other artists from a well established band, it would be much more exciting to use one of their original tracks to make a video for.
