From looking at bands such as Pvris, Paramore, and Tonight Alive who each have a female vocalist and are from the same genre in which we have chosen, it is evident that the clothing in which they wear is grungy, and almost quite messy, and 'laid-back' - more casual than those from the pop genre. This is mainly due to the fact that artists such as these are always full of energy, especially on stage, and the music genre initially represented the idea of rebellion. Therefore casual, messy clothes adhere to this concept - also allowing the artists to have the freedom to move around when performing.
Fans who listen to this genre of music tend to dress in a similar way, especially if they look up to the band as inspiration. Fans will also tend to dress like this due to band merchandise, in which merchandise such as hoodies, and T-shirts emit this same vibe. Additionally, this style of clothing benefits fans who attend gigs as music such as this attracts stage diving and moshing, in which this style of clothing would be appropriate - as opposed to pop artists and pop fans who attend concerts, who may want to dress more formally in comparison.
